Our nursery and kindergarten students at La Petite Ecole Hanoi<\/a> enjoyed a morning immersed in nature at Hat Mam Playground<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. Designed as a break from the traditional classroom setting, this outing offered a different learning rhythm\u2014freer, more instinctive, and directly connected to the living world. For a nursery or preschool in Hanoi, these outdoor experiences are an essential part of a balanced educational journey, allowing children to explore, feel, and build their early knowledge through hands-on discovery.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, the children were invited to take part in a \u201clittle creatures hunt.\u201d With magnifying glasses in hand, they observed leaves, followed the movement of insects, and\u2014above all\u2014took the time to truly look at nature. This simple activity actually engages a wide range of skills: curiosity, attention to detail, language development, questioning\u2026 all key foundations in early childhood learning.<\/p>\n

A gardening workshop complemented this exploration time. Planting, touching the soil, and observing early sprouts helped the children understand the cycle of life and develop a respectful connection with nature.
