Fire Drill Exercise at La Petite Ecole Hanoi: Safety Comes First
A School-Wide Fire Drill Across Both Campuses
At La Petite Ecole Hanoi, the safety and well-being of every child remain our highest priority ๐
This morning, our school organized a fire drill exercise across both campuses as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, prepared, and secure learning environment for all students and staff.
The exercise was conducted in the presence of Mr. Kevin Sentenac, Chief of the Security Department at the French Embassy in Hanoi, who attended the drill in person and provided expert supervision throughout the operation.
Safety Standards in an AEFE-Accredited School
As an AEFE-accredited French international school in Hanoi, La Petite Ecole Hanoi follows rigorous safety procedures and emergency protocols designed to protect every member of our school community. Regular fire drills are an essential part of these protocols. They help ensure that: children know how to react calmly in an emergency, teachers and staff can coordinate efficiently, evacuation procedures are fully operational and regularly reviewed. Safety instructions and evacuation guidelines are also displayed throughout the school and inside classrooms to help children and adults become familiar with emergency procedures in their daily environment.
A Calm and Efficient Evacuation Exercise
The fire drill was carried out simultaneously on both campuses, with the participation of all students, teachers, and administrative staff.
During the exercise:
- evacuation routes were followed calmly and efficiently,
- assembly points were reached within the required timeframe,
- teams demonstrated excellent coordination and composure throughout the process.
We are proud of how smoothly the exercise was conducted and of the responsible attitude shown by our entire school community.
